Dropout’s surprise new show is a slumber party hosted by drag star Monét X Change

Monét X Change lounges on on a bed in a tiny zebra-print dress and high heels, pursing her lips at a lavender flip phone in the trailer for Monét’s Slumber Party.

X Change will host a ‘salacious’ chat show

This week, Dropout teased the reveal of “the gayest party of your life,” and any nerds (me) who assumed it would be an adventuring sort of party are shoving their glasses back up their noses in surprise — and perhaps delight. A trailer for Monét’s Slumber Party reveals a new structured chat show for the streaming service.

RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Monét X Change hosts the series, in which pajama-clad guests chat and play “salacious games,” according to the trailer’s description. Guests revealed include Dropout and Drag Race cast members and also tons of surprise faces, including figure skater Adam Rippon, comedian Atsuko Okatuka, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Rachel Bloom.

The worlds of Dropout.tv and RuPaul’s Drag Race first crossed over last year, with Dimension 20’s “Dungeons and Drag Queens,” starring X Change, Alaska Thunderfuck, Bob the Drag Queen, and Jujubee, and hosted by game master Brennan Lee Mulligan. Dropout announced a second season was in the works last year.

Monét’s Slumber Party premieres on July 19.
