Time for a reunion

PlayStation Plus subscribers itching for a reason to hop back into the grand world of Final Fantasy 7 since the release of Rebirth will have an easy way to do so. PlayStation Plus subscribers’ free Essential games for July include Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, Remnant 2, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, and more. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is the HD remake of the prequel to the original Final Fantasy 7. You play as Zack Fair, Cloud Strife’s friend from his days at SOLDIER. Square Enix first released Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 stateside to the PlayStation Portable in 2008. Reunion brings the original game back, with updated graphics, combat systems, and music, while retaining the story from the 2008 game. And soon, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to play it for free.

If you aren’t a Final Fantasy 7 head, that’s cool, too. There are plenty of other options coming in July.
